Ankle breaks are a tracked Huss Rooms progression action with twelve enabled badge milestones from 1 to 10,000. The first description says, “Break a captain’s ankles for the first time,” while later badges say to reach a total number of ankle breaks. Public records do not define the exact movement, target, distance, direction change, or timing that makes the counter increase.
Treat “ankle break” as the game’s own scored action, not a license to invent a movement tutorial. Find the live counter or award message and verify one ordinary trigger in the current build.
Ankle-break badge ladder
Find the trigger without guessing
Locate any ankle-break counter, score pop-up, or badge progress in the current interface. Record the starting state. During a normal chase, change direction around available space and watch for the game’s own confirmation rather than deciding from the hunter’s animation alone.
When the counter increases, record the hunter or captain, player form, route shape, relative direction, distance, event, and server state. Repeat under similar conditions. The first badge mentions a captain, but the public catalog does not enumerate every eligible target.
Use safe route planning
Preserve two exits and avoid forcing a close maneuver merely to chase a counter. A reliable survival route matters more than a speculative technique. Keep the camera on the next open space, use a landmark, and leave room for other players.
If a direction change appears to produce an award, do not assume one exact angle or distance. Latency and pathing can affect what the server recognizes. Use the game’s message or counter as confirmation and keep the observation dated.
Separate ragdolls from ankle breaks
Props and Tools can ragdoll monsters according to the official description. That does not prove a ragdoll is an ankle break. Test the counter separately before and after a Tool or Prop interaction, and do not label the result when multiple players act at once.
Likewise, an ankle-break score does not prove an elimination. Huss Rooms has a separate elimination ladder. Track the two totals independently and use the Eliminations guide for those milestones.
Plan long milestones responsibly
The ladder becomes steep after 1,000. Use a visible current count and choose the next verified milestone rather than estimating from playtime. Break the goal into normal sessions and stop when route quality or attention drops.
Do not use macros, exploits, alternate-account abuse, or unauthorized private-server automation. Those actions risk the account and can create false or resettable progress. The badge is meant to reflect the server-recognized action.
Badge troubleshooting
At a threshold, wait for the current chase or score event to resolve. Check the Roblox badge notification and then the account’s inventory. Make sure the badge belongs to this universe and remains enabled.
If the counter clearly crosses a threshold without an award, capture the before-and-after counter, date, Place ID, and badge state. Rejoin once and report a reproducible issue through the creator’s official community. Do not try to force an award through client changes.

Badge ladder verifiedAnkle-break FAQ
How do I break ankles in Huss Rooms?
The public official records identify the counter but not a precise input recipe. Use normal evasive movement and look for the live game’s score confirmation.
Which targets count?
The first badge says a captain. The complete eligible target list is not published, so verify the current counter for each form or mode.
Does ragdolling a monster count?
Not established. Props and Tools have a separate published ragdoll purpose; compare the ankle-break counter directly.
What is the highest badge?
The Uncatchable is enabled at 10,000 ankle breaks. The existence of that badge does not prove the counter is capped there.
